We review original mortgage agreements to examine whether a defense exists for prime and sub-prime lenders based on legal requirements that mortgage agreements must adhere to as outlined by the Truth in Lending Act (TILA). With our strong background in defending Mortgage Brokers, we have successfully used that background to defend foreclosures caused by Mortgage Brokers and/or lending institution malfeasance and to pursue brokers and lenders for their predatory lending practices.

Housing Court issues involve both criminal and civil cases that are determined by building code ordinances and environmental regulations concerning zoning, safety, health, building and nuisance abatement. Fire prevention, dumping and littering as well as house stripping are also matters addressed through Housing Court.
